What the HA0364 Upgrade Kit Does

The ShoreStation 6.0 system is a ground-up redesign of the previous control electronics. It unifies control of your lift, optional ShoreScreen™, and canopy lights into a single keypad, remote, and Bluetooth app platform, giving your existing lift the same control experience as current ShoreStation® models.

What’s Included in the HA0364 Kit

The HA0364 kit includes factory ShoreStation components designed specifically for freestanding hydraulic lifts:

• Controller 6.0 Electronic Control Unit (ECU) – mounts to the pump box using existing hardware.
• ShoreStation 6.0 Keypad – replaces all old key/toggle switches with a sealed, code-locked interface.
• ShoreStation 6.0 Wireless Remote – handheld remote for lift, screen and lights (two A23 batteries, range up to 300 ft). 
• New Motor Harness designed for the 6.0 system (replaces the original harness in the pump box). 
• Extension harnesses & limit switch extension (used where additional reach is needed).
• Mounting hardware (reuses many existing fasteners; ShoreStation recommends having extra hardware available at install). 

If your lift is equipped with a ShoreScreen™, additional parts may be required (see the ShoreScreen compatibility section below).

Keypad Features

• Controls up to three functions: Lift, ShoreScreen, and Canopy Lights (Modes 1–3).
• LED battery level indicator: green/red states indicate approximate remaining capacity.
• Operating states:
  • Wireless State – lift locked at keypad, remote & app still active.
  • Unlocked State – full keypad control after entering 4-digit code.
  • Total Lock State – complete lockout; no device can run the lift. 
• Customizable 4-digit security code (replaces universal key).
• Automatic re-lock after 5 minutes of inactivity.
• Tilt adjustment function (for permanent lift models that support it).

Wireless Remote Features

• Dedicated mode button to toggle between Lift, Screen, and Light modes.
• Battery level indication with 1–4 LEDs when opened.
• Light/Tilt-Adjust button for canopy lights or lift leveling (per lift configuration).
• Automatic sleep when the lid is closed to preserve battery life. 

ShoreStation App Features

• Up/Down control for the lift and ShoreScreen™ from your phone.
• On/Off control for canopy lights plus configurable auto-shutoff timer (5, 15, or 30 minutes).
• Live battery voltage and daily voltage history that can act as a quick “load test”.
• Enable/disable specific equipment: Lift, ShoreScreen, Lights, Lift Adjust, PWC Lift.
• System information view with hardware/firmware details and over-the-air firmware updates.

Lifts

The HA0364 upgrade kit is designed specifically for:

• ShoreStation Freestanding Hydraulic Lifts, 5,000 lb capacity and larger

It is the factory-specified 6.0 system upgrade kit for freestanding models, allowing older hydraulic lifts to use the same control platform as new 2026 Program Year lifts. 

Replaces Older Components

When this new control system is installed, all previous key switches, toggle switches, and blue remotes are removed for the lift being upgraded.

ShoreScreen™ Integration (If Present)

If your freestanding lift has a ShoreScreen™, integration with Controller 6.0 may require additional kits, depending on the existing relay type:

• 3.0 style relay – typically compatible with 6.0 using the appropriate screen control kit.
• Cube relay – must be replaced; the HA0364 instructions specify that cube-style relays are not compatible with Controller 6.0 and require a relay upgrade kit. 

Common accessory kits used with HA0364 include screen control and battery cable kits (e.g., HA0362/HA0363 and 5310352/5310365). Upgrade scenario charts in the product bulletin outline which kits are used for various lift and screen combinations. 

Installation Overview

The HA0364 kit includes a detailed factory installation manual. Below is a high-level summary of the process; professional installation or a qualified dealer is recommended.

1. Disconnect Main Power – unplug the lift power before working on any components.
2. Remove Old Control Unit – unbolt and unplug the original controller from the pump box.
3. Remove Old Harness Wiring – disconnect main power, solenoid power, reversing coil, limit switch, and ground wires from the pump. Old antenna and indicator wiring are removed as they are no longer used. 
4. Install New Harness – connect the new harness to the same locations (main power, solenoid, reversing coil, ground, and limit switch), using new ground points where specified for bottom-mounted pumps.
5. Mount New Controller 6.0 Unit – reuse existing pump box bolts to secure the new controller in place.
6. Test Operation – connect the keypad and temporarily connect power to verify lift and screen functions in “dockside mode” (unlocked keypad with default 1-2-3-4 code).
7. Route Extension Harnesses – permanently route keypad and relay extension harnesses along the canopy frame or leg, securing with zip ties and keeping all electrical connections above the water line. 
8. Finalize & Close Pump Box – neat wire management, reconnect main battery power and close the pump box lid.
