Power and Charging - This motor offers flexibility in power options, accommodating either a 12v DC setup (single battery) or a 24v configuration (two batteries connected in series). Both options ensure reliable operation; however, optimal performance is achieved with a 24v setup, effectively doubling the motor's speed and significantly reducing the time required to lift your boat.

With these motors, you don’t need to decide between 12v or 24v until the motor is installed. However, if you’re purchasing a solar kit, it’s important to determine your lift’s power setup beforehand, as 12v and 24v configurations require different solar panels.

NOTE: At this time, we only recommend using Lead Acid or AGM batteries for all of our boat lift motors. We do not recommend the use of Lithium batteries.
