TIPS

Note: If you wish to leave the wheels installed once the lift is in the water, you must ensure that your lift leveling legs are adjusted properly. It is important, that if the wheels are left in place while the lift is being used, that the tires are in no way supporting the weight of the lift and watercraft. The wheel kits are not designed to support the weight of a watercraft and should not be used for this purpose.

I never rate anyone, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. I bought the kit, wheels, and shipped it for $457.00. Installation was incredibly easy. Really nothing to it and didn't take any time. Mind you, I am 50 years old with a bad back. I couldn't even lift one corner of the boat lift rated for 3000lb. I turned the nut with a rachet and socket with ease and lift the lift. I literally could tip and push with one hand. My 13 year son wheeled it around the yard. it got difficult to push in the water because I had no leverage as I was deep in the water and floating, but still moved it with relative ease. Just make sure you put the wheels off center, forward to the lifts wheel, as the instructions say. I locked in the wheels to the thingy sticking out so no moving and wearing could occur. I plan on putting a tow strap on and attaching to my truck hitch to pull out in the fall. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Question:Should I purchase two sets of these wheel kits so I can have a tire on each corner? - Chris (02/12/2013)
Response:A single set is usually recommended. Two sets can be used but only if you are going straight in and straight out, you can not turn with four wheels. A single set allows you to turn easily and is less expensive.
