Key Features
- Designed for 32" Wide Alumidock Sections – Specifically engineered for compatibility with Alumidock 32" Classic dock systems
- Adjustable Leg Heights – Available in multiple size options to accommodate varying water depths
- Stainless Steel Hardware – Provides strength and reliability at all connection points
- Cross-Braced Frame Design – Enhances structural rigidity and minimizes movement
- Removable Bottom Pads – Helps distribute weight and prevent sinking into soft lake bottoms
- Easy Installation – Designed for straightforward assembly and seasonal adjustment
How the System Works
Each dock section is supported by a leg frame assembly consisting of vertical legs, horizontal supports, and diagonal bracing. This configuration creates a stable foundation while allowing for fine-tuned height adjustment to match water depth and desired dock elevation.
As shown in the dock leg diagram, the system utilizes a combination of lower, mid, and diagonal truss supports to maintain rigidity and distribute load evenly across the frame.
Leg sizes are selected based on total water depth and desired dock height, with available sizes typically ranging from 3’ up to 8’ to accommodate a wide range of shoreline conditions.
Available Configurations
- Standard Leg Frame Assemblies – Used on continuous, connecting dock sections to provide primary structural support throughout the dock system
- Outrigger Leg Assemblies – Can be used on continuous sections for added stability and are highly recommended on the final section of straight-run dock configurations to reduce movement and improve rigidity
- Center End Leg Assemblies – Designed for use on the last section of a straight run when connecting to a T, L, or platform dock configuration, providing support at key transition points without interfering with T, L or Platform sections.
These assemblies are designed to integrate seamlessly with Alumidock's modular dock system, allowing for easy expansion and reconfiguration of your dock layout.
Applications
- Residential lakefront docks
- Shallow to moderate water depths
- Seasonal dock installations
- Compatible with straight, L-shaped, and T-shaped dock configurations
As outlined in the Alumidock configuration guide, 32" wide sections are ideal for lower-traffic dock applications while still providing a stable and functional walking surface.
