True One-Person Dock Installation — No Need to Enter the Water

The Alumidock 32" Wide Aluminum Dock is specifically designed for true single-person installation. In fact, it is one of the only dock systems available that can be installed entirely by one person without ever getting into the water. This is made possible by Alumidock’s unique pivot pin and hinge bar system, which allows each section to be installed from the shoreline or from an already installed dock section and then lowered into position in a controlled manner. Instead of wrestling heavy dock frames in the water or requiring multiple installers, each section simply pivots into place and connects securely to the next. Deeper water sections may require an additional hand, but can still be done from the docks surface.

The initial installation may require additional assistance and entering the water to properly adjust the leg assemblies for the correct water depth and to ensure the dock is level. Once the legs are set and the system is properly aligned, however, seasonal removal and future installations become much easier. After the initial setup, dock sections can typically be installed or removed by a single person from the shoreline or from the dock itself, eliminating the need to step into the water during normal seasonal installation.

DOCK SECTION LAYOUT OPTIONS

Alumidock 32" systems are built around four core section types, allowing you to create straight runs, L-shapes, or T-configurations with a clean, modular approach. See the image and information below to identify where each section is used.

Starter Section (Shore Connection)

The Starter Section is used when beginning a dock directly from shore without a seawall bracket. This section establishes the foundation and alignment for the rest of the dock.

Center Section (Main Dock Run)

The Center Section makes up the main body of the dock as it extends out into the water. These sections are repeated as needed to achieve your desired dock length.

End Section (Straight Dock Termination)

If your dock runs straight out from shore, the final section will be an End Section. This section provides a finished termination for straight dock layouts.

• Includes support components for stability at the end of the dock

Center End Section (L or T Configurations)

To create an L-shaped or T-shaped dock layout, a Center End Section is used. Once installed, an End Section is then added to the Center End Section to complete the L or T design.

• Support brackets extend off the end of the section, keeping the sides clear for additional dock connections
