Here you can learn more about the DAKA series replacement canopy covers offered by BoatLiftandDock.com. Our cover options are designed specifically to fit the appropriate size DAKA OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) aluminum canopy frames. We offer four material options: Shelter-Rite®, Shoretex Elite®, HarborTime® & RECwater®. Each canopy cover is available in a variety of color options. Canopy Frame Not Included. SIZE OPTIONS

When ordering your canopy cover, please select the appropriate cover size for your specific canopy frame from the "Canopy Cover Size Selector" drop-down above (directly below the product title).

• Lengths run from 20 ft – 30 ft
• Widths come in 84", 96", 108" & 115", depending on which length is chosen
• All four material options are available in every size

SHELTER-RITE® QUALITY VINYL

Shelter-Rite™ is an American-made premium vinyl that meets rigorous performance standards and is widely considered one of the top vinyl materials in the marine industry. Weighing 18.8 oz, it features heat-welded seams for added durability and a smooth matte finish for easy cleaning. Available in 11 colors.

SHORETEX ELITE™ MARINE CANOPY FABRIC

Shoretex Elite™ is the newest generation solution-dyed polyester marine fabric engineered for superior performance and longevity. Designed as a stronger and more durable upgrade to standard polyester fabrics, Shoretex Elite™ features an eco-friendly, PFAS-free finish and a robust urethane backing that significantly enhances water repellency. This fabric delivers excellent UV defense, mold and mildew resistance, and outstanding tear and abrasion durability — making it an ideal choice for waterfront environments.

HARBORTIME® EDGE MARINE FABRIC

HarborTime® Edge is a 12 oz marine fabric featuring Perfecta Marine technology, which provides superior heat reflection and UV performance. Made from coated polyester, it offers excellent abrasion resistance and is stabilized to maintain a continuous, long-lasting fit. Available in 10 colors.

RECWATER® MARINE CANVAS

RECwater™ material is one of the best marine-grade materials available in the canopy cover market today. The RECwater material is made by starting with a premium commercial-weight solution-dyed acrylic fabric at 19 oz per yard. This fabric undergoes a "Blade Over Roller Coating" process that involves pouring molten liquid vinyl over the fabric, which is then drawn off with a blade to provide an even coating. The vinyl is then cured and heat set in a finishing range. This process allows the vinyl to soak into the fabric to create an exceptionally strong bond.

QUICKLASH CANOPY ATTACHMENT SYSTEM

Each replacement canopy cover includes bungee attaching hardware for securing the cover to your canopy frame. The Quicklash system offers a user-friendly design with reinforced lacing for added strength and durability over traditional attachment methods.

The Quicklash canopy attachment system provides an easy-to-install design with increased strength and durability over traditional attachment systems. Sewn into the interior of the cover, Quicklash is a fabric strip with reinforced lacing holes that eliminates the need for grommets to secure the canopy. The Quicklash webbing is reinforced with Armor Bar, a high-tenacity polyester yarn that provides increased tear resistance and strength.

The 2-1/8" wide Quicklash webbing allows for quick and customizable installation with 1" lacing holes spaced every 3". The canopy cover is secured utilizing the Quicklash webbing and supplied bungees. The 1/4" stretchable, nylon-covered rubber bungees connect to any of the 1" lacing holes and then are secured to each specified attachment point on the existing canopy frame. Once all bungees have been installed, even tension is created around the perimeter of the canopy frame, keeping the cover secure and in place.

DAKA CANOPY FRAME MEASURING ASSISTANCE

Below, we have provided an image that illustrates how to measure your canopy frame in order to determine the proper size cover. DAKA canopy frames have flat vertical ends and are constructed with square tubing. They are often mounted to a DAKA lift, which is commonly identified by its green turn wheel.

• Measuring Length: Outside length of the lower canopy rail on a centerline from front to back
• Measuring Width: Inside width of the lower canopy rail on a centerline from left to right

Note: Each canopy cover is custom built to order, so it is important that the correct size is ordered. Returned canopies due to incorrect size or make ordered are subject to restocking fees and in some cases may not be returnable. If replacing an existing cover, check for a canopy tag for size information or contact the manufacturer.
