Smarter Boat Lift Operation
The EV1 controller allows you to program upper and lower travel limits to help protect your boat, lift, cable, pulleys, and winch box from over-travel. An optional boarding position can also be programmed between the upper and lower limits, allowing the lift to pause at a convenient height for boarding or unloading before continuing up or down.
In manual mode, the lift moves only while the control is held. In auto mode, the lift can move to the programmed position with a simple tap from the key fob, phone app, or smart watch. The stop function remains the highest-priority command and can be used at any time to halt lift movement.
Built for Long-Term Cable Performance
The 5K model features a 5/16" grooved drum designed to improve cable tracking. When combined with properly programmed lift limits, the grooved drum helps reduce cable slack and cable pop, supporting longer cable life and smoother lift performance.

Power Options
This Lake Lifter motorized winch box is designed for 12V or 24V battery operation, with 24V recommended for best performance. The system can be paired with compatible solar charging equipment to help maintain battery charge at the waterfront.
Optional LED Light Control
The EV1 controller includes LED light control capability for compatible Lake Lite or Lake Lifter LED lighting. The light can be toggled from the key fob or app, with brightness adjustment available through supported controls. The light output also includes automatic shut-off for added convenience.
Backup Drill Drive
For added peace of mind, the motor includes a backup drill-drive option. A standard drill with a 9/16" deep well socket can be used to operate the lift through the backup drive opening when needed. Do not use an impact drill.

Important Compatibility Notes
- Designed for compatible boat lifts with proper winch box mounting.
- Always verify lift capacity, cable routing, mounting style, and clearance before installation.
- The upper limit must be programmed to allow proper clearance from the canopy, wake tower, bimini, or other obstacles.
- The lower limit should be set before the cable becomes slack.
- For best performance, use a marine deep-cycle or AGM battery. LiFePO4 batteries are not recommended by the manufacturer.
