Hydraulic Boat Lift Priority One: Smart Design

At the heart of the LTPM608A is ShoreStation’s unique tandem hydraulic system. With the push of a button, equal hydraulic volume is delivered to both lift cylinders, keeping the platform automatically level throughout the lift cycle—without the need for dual motors or manual leveling adjustments.

Traditional piling mount lifts rely on cable winders that wrap cable around a drum or pole, which can lead to uneven spooling, cable fraying, and premature failure. ShoreStation’s hydraulic design instead pulls stainless steel cables over large-diameter, self-lubricating pulleys, eliminating cable overwind or unspooling and significantly extending cable life.

 

Does speed matter? The LTPM608A delivers an 8' lift height in under one minute, and shorter lifts can be completed in as little as 20 seconds. That’s approximately 4–5 times faster than traditional gear-plate piling mount systems—an important advantage when loading in wind, waves, or changing water levels.

This performance is made possible by the system’s battery-powered hydraulic design, which delivers high bursts of power without requiring oversized AC electrical circuits or costly dock modifications.

The stainless steel chain extension system allows the platform height to be precisely adjusted for each installation. Because piling height, dock layout, and boat geometry vary, the standard chains provide up to 4 feet of vertical adjustment, with longer chain options available if needed.

POWER OPTIONS – FLEXPOWER® ADVANTAGE

FlexPower® allows you to power your lift without trenching electrical lines or installing dedicated AC circuits. The system operates on a 24V DC battery platform and can be charged using:

• Standard 120V AC outlet with a battery tender
• Optional ShoreStation 24V solar charging system

With solar charging installed, the batteries receive a continuous daytime charge, typically providing 10–13 lift cycles per day under normal conditions.

ALUMINUM CRADLE PLATFORM OPTION

Flat Tube Cradle – 144"W x 128"L (PLF144-128A)
All-aluminum flat-tube cradle frame with front and rear beams and straight spreader tubes. Designed for ShoreStation 4,000 and 6,000 lb piling mount hydraulic lifts using threaded cable lift tube designs.

BOAT SUPPORT OPTIONS: This hoist can be equipped with a variety of boat support hardware options designed to match specific watercraft hull styles. Boat support options include complete hardware kits that mount to the moving cradle of the lift and contact and support your boat during lifting and storage.

STANDARD 12' ULTRA BUNKS – HA-0346 – Well suited for single-hull designs including flat-bottom, round-bottom, and deep-V hull styles. Ultra Bunks feature aluminum extrusion bunk rails with a non-abrasive vinyl covering. These bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like traditional carpeted lumber bunks.

TOONRAIL 2.0 WITH MOTORSTOP – HA-0341 – Designed for pontoon and tritoon boats, this rack-style support system lifts from the deck frame and includes an integrated motor stop for added protection during loading.

PONTOON ULTRA BUNK & GLIDERAIL GUIDE KIT – HA-0224 – Designed for pontoon and tritoon boats, this kit includes two Ultra Bunk assemblies with integrated side guide rails. The bunks mount to the outer edges of the cradle to support the underside of pontoon tubes. Custom bunk brackets secure to a 16.5' side-loading guide that acts as a parking assist. Please note: When using this kit, installation of additional loading guide options may be limited.

LOADING GUIDE OPTIONS: Loading guides are optional accessories that can be added to your hoist at any time. They are highly recommended for windy or rough water conditions and for inexperienced operators. Loading guides assist with entering and positioning the boat by helping keep it centered within the lift frame.

148" GLIDEPOLE PILE POST GUIDE – HA-0190 Secures to the entrance pilings of the lift to provide a visual reference when centering and landing your boat on the lift.
 

10" FRONT POST UPRIGHT GUIDES – Helps keep the boat’s bow centered when landing in high wind or waves. Mounts to the front or rear cradle tube and is fully adjustable for a precise fit.

POWER OPTIONS: FlexPower® is a unique DC hydraulic power system that delivers maximum lifting performance without costly electrical installations or dock modifications. The system operates using a 24V battery platform and can be charged using a standard 120V AC outlet with a battery tender or an optional solar charging system.

24V SOLAR CHARGING SYSTEM – Includes a complete 24V solar charging panel with mounting hardware. Designed for use with two 12V deep-cycle batteries (batteries not included). Provides a continuous trickle charge during daylight hours and typically allows for 10–13 lift cycles per day under normal conditions.

LIFT TUBE HANGER KITS: Hanger kits are used to secure each of the hydraulic lift tubes to your existing pilings. ShoreStation offers hanger kits for both top-mount and side-mount installations depending on your piling layout and dock configuration.

SIDE MOUNT HANGER KIT – Includes a four-piece hanger bracket kit designed to secure the lift tubes to the side of existing pilings. Brackets are supplied with stainless steel and brass fasteners for long-term corrosion resistance.

HYDRAULIC EXTENSION HOSES: One unique advantage of this hoist system is that the hydraulic pump and power unit can be mounted in a location of your choosing. Once the pump location is selected, simply connect the hydraulic hoses to the pump and lift tubes.

ShoreStation offers pre-assembled hose kits that are fitted and ready for quick connection. Each hose kit includes two hydraulic hoses in your selected length. Available hose lengths include: 5', 10', 15', 20', 40', and 60'.
