OVERVIEW

MaxDock - MaxLoc Dock Crossarm Assembly

The MaxLoc 3'' - 5'' Adjustable cross-arm assembly is a universal cross-arm for dock sections that can be used with many different dock sections no matter how they are constructed.

Unlike most traditional dock supports, the MaxLoc assembly features a unmatched vertical load design capable of load weights far beyond traditional residential round post dock supports. The integrated aluminum red cut billet cross-arm clamps are custom designed to apply evenly distributed 360 degree pressure across each vertical 2" OD aluminum dock posts.

DOCK SECTION WIDTH ACCEPTANCE

The 3''-5'' adjustable MaxLoc H-Frame support features the ability adjusting to various widths. Allowing you to use the support with dock sections with widths ranging from 36" to 60". The telescoping crossmember can be adjusted within this range to provide a custom fit to your dock section.

CROSSARM FEATURES

  • VERY STRONG 2" x 4" Aluminum Extrusion Crossmember
  • Post clamps provide 360 Degree Even pressure
  • End clamps tighten around a 2" OD dock post with the use of a 5/16" hex wrench
  • Once tightened, this cross-arm will not move!
  • Pre-Attached Aluminum Stringer Plates

COMPLETE SUPPORT

The MaxLoc complete crossmember makes dock height adjustment simple and quick. Only requiring a single hex wrench to adjust height while providing a secure fit. Custom support widths are available and can accommodate up to a 30'' wide platform.

To create a complete dock support, you will need to add the following;

  • 1 - MaxLoc 3''-5'' adjustable cross-arm assembly with integrated cross-arm clamps and stringer brackets
  • 2 - 2" OD vertical dock posts (choose correct length for your water depth)
  • 2 - standard base pads, large base pads or dock post augers

POST ATTACHMENT OPTIONS

Dock Base PadStandard 7.5" x 7.5" aluminum bottom plates work well in sand and other solid lake bottoms. Not recommended for extremely deep mud or muck.

Large Dock Base PadLarge 12" x 12" aluminum bottom plates provide a larger footprint for the leg and works better in area with softer lake bottoms, may not work well in extremely deep mud or muck.

Dock AugerAluminum Dock Augers are recommended from supports that will have boats or watercraft tied to it. Augers make installing the support more work than using just bottom plates. The auger helps to anchor the dock to the lake bottom. You can also use a combination of base pad and auger for maximum support.

For single section runs in water depths exceeding 5'' or very soft lake bottom conditions, you may want to consider the X-Brace add-on kit for increased stability and section sway reduction.
