OVERVIEW

SHORESTATION SS-V50120HY - 5,000 lb CAPACITY, 120" WIDE VERTICAL HYDRAULIC BOAT LIFT

Featuring a uniquely classic, well-thought-out design since day one, ShoreStation FlexPower® hydraulic vertical freestanding boat hoists stand out on the water with their distinctive engineering.

The ShoreStation SS-V50120HY FlexPower® hydraulic lift offers a sleek, clean look with smooth, level-lift operation that provides an easy and fast way to dock and launch your boat. Powered by reliable and safe DC power, the system provides a constant power source for fast and effortless operation, with the option to use AC power or your boat battery to keep the lift batteries charged.

One of the best features of the FlexPower® hydraulic lifts is that they are designed with the entire hydraulic system positioned above the waterline and away from the dock for safe and easy access to your boat. This also provides a dependable, long-lasting hydraulic system that does not fall victim to corrosion, leaking connections, or failing seals.

HYDRAULIC CABLE LIFTING PRINCIPLES FOR MARINE ENVIRONMENTS

Hydraulic Boat Lift Priority One: Smart Design!

ShoreStation, a company that originated in the 1950s as Midwest Industries and specialized in hydraulic designs for agriculture, has one of the best understandings of hydraulics in the marine industry.

With any type of lift, keeping the moving parts out of the water is important. With a hydraulic lift, this means your pump, cylinder, and all fitting components remain out of the water. Cantilever hydraulic hoists have many of their mechanical components beneath the waterline. Keeping vital components out of the water and in a more controlled environment leads to much higher reliability and less overall maintenance. The illustration below shows the hydraulic cylinder (#1), the lift cable (#2), and the leveling cables (#3).

With the ShoreStation hydraulic hoist, you do not need to worry about your boat falling into the water due to a pump, hose, or fitting failure. A unique safety feature on the FlexPower hoist is the pressure valve in the hydraulic system that stops the hoist from dropping your boat into the water (image above #4), even if a hydraulic hose is cut. With all of the fluid hoses out of the water, seals and fittings provide a longer life with fewer maintenance issues.

These lifts feature large-diameter stainless steel lift cables operating over large-diameter sheaves with self-lubricating GARMAX® bushings. The simple design ensures no cable-to-cable contact, eliminating the possibility of the cables binding and damaging each other.

The "V"-shaped cradle rack beam design of the platform allows for operation in shallow water and provides more positive centering. In the up position, there are no moving parts left in the water, which minimizes corrosion. The boarding step and distinctive Drop Side arm allow for easy entry and exit from your boat.

BUILD YOUR HOIST PACKAGE

This lift can be equipped for virtually any watercraft style and a wide range of lakefront conditions and offers a large variety of accessories that can be configured to suit your needs. While choosing your hoist configuration, please review the following options that this unit can be equipped with.

This section provides descriptions of the various options that you can have this hoist equipped with. These options are selected above the "Add to Cart" button, which allow you to build the configuration that you want.

EXTENSION LEG OPTIONS: Freestanding lifts such as this model utilize four independently adjustable legs which are inserted into the corner columns of the hoist. When installed, they allow you to adjust the height of the lift at each of the corners so that you can achieve a level plane across the hoist. Attached to each leg is a large base pad that rests on the lake bottom.

20" ADJUSTABLE LEG - Standard leg extensions offering 20" of adjustment, suited for water depths up to 4 ft.

40" ADJUSTABLE LEGS - Longer adjustable leg extensions available for deeper water, offering up to 40" of adjustment. Suited for water depths up to 5.5ft.

BOAT SUPPORT OPTIONS: This hoist can be equipped with a variety of support hardware options. The following options are designed for particular watercraft hull designs. Boat support options include complete hardware kits that are mounted to the moving cradle of the lift and contact and support your boat.

12' ULTRA BUNKS - This configuration is well suited for single-hull designs, including flat bottom, round bottom, and deep-V hull designs. The Ultra Bunk includes two individual aluminum extrusion bunk rails covered with a non-abrasive vinyl. Ultra Bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks.

PONTOON - TANDEM ULTRA BUNKS - This configuration is well suited for pontoons. The Dual Ultra Bunk kit includes two sets of aluminum extrusion bunk rails covered with a non-abrasive vinyl. Ultra Bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks. When installed, each set of bunks is located to the exterior of the cradle and is designed to support the underside of the toons.

PONTOON & TRITOON BUNK LOG & SIDE GUIDE KIT - This configuration is well suited for both pontoon and tritoon setups. Configuration includes left and right side, two-piece 15' Ultra Bunk assemblies that feature an integrated 15' side guide rail. This system provides better guide assistance than what is found on the traditional pontoon rack and standard dual bunk setups. The aluminum-and-vinyl Ultra Bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted, wrapped lumber bunks. When installed, each set of bunks is located to the exterior of the cradle and is designed to support the underside of the toons. Pontoon bunk brackets also secure to a 15' side loading guide that acts as a parking assist. Please note, when using this kit, the installation of other loading guide options is limited.

PONTOON ULTRA BUNK & GLIDERAIL KIT - This configuration is well suited for pontoons and tritoons. This kit includes two 15' Ultra Bunk assemblies that feature an integrated side guide rail for better guide assistance than found on the pontoon rack and dual bunk setups. Ultra Bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks. When installed, each set of bunks is located to the exterior of the cradle and is designed to support the underside of the toons. The custom bunk brackets also secure to a 16.5' tapered-end Gliderail loading guide that acts as a parking assist. Please note, when using this kit, the installation of other loading guide options is limited.

LOADING GUIDE OPTIONS: Loading guides are optional accessories that can be added to your hoist at any time. They are highly recommended for those in rough and windy areas or for inexperienced drivers. They are designed to assist with leaving and parking your boat by providing a guiding aid to keep you centrally located within the hoist frame.

GLIDEPOLE CORNER POST GUIDE - Pivots on the corner of your lift to provide a visual aid when centering and landing your boat on the lift. Fully adjustable inward, outward, and vertically for desired protection.

GLIDERAIL CENTERING GUIDE – Unique extended flare design allows for easy entrance into your lift in wind and waves. Fully adjustable horizontally and vertically for a perfect fit.

FRONT POST UPRIGHT GUIDES - Keeps the boat's bow centered when landing in high wind or waves. Mounts on the front cradle tube to provide full adjustability for a perfect fit.

SPRING-LOADED CENTERING GUIDE - The flex action of these guide posts makes loading your boat easier than ever. As the boat enters the lift, they self-adjust to keep the boat centered for trouble-free loading every time.

FOUR POST FOAM CENTERING GUIDE - One of ShoreStation's most traditional centering guides, these are mounted at the four corners of the lifting platform. This centering device provides four soft upright posts that assist with keeping your watercraft centered on the hoist.

MOTOR & BOW STOP OPTIONS: Motor and bow stops are another optional style of parking aid designed to help with positioning a watercraft. They help prevent "overshooting" the parking location. The motor and bow stops are not suitable for all watercraft styles.

MOTOR STOP - Mounted to the stern-end rack beam, this accessory assists with stopping your watercraft and helps prevent your boat from overrunning the lift.

BOW STOP –  Brings your boat to a stop in the perfect position every time. These padded stops help prevent your boat from overrunning the lift.
