Precision Grooved Cable Drum
The precision-machined grooved drum helps guide the lifting cable evenly across the drum. This design reduces cable slack, improper cable stacking, and the possibility of the cable jumping out of position.
Keeping the cable properly aligned can help extend cable life and provide more consistent winch operation.
EV1 Digital Upper and Lower Limits
The Lake Lifter EV1 digital control system allows the upper and lower lift positions to be programmed and stored in memory.
Audio voice guidance assists during the initial limit-setting process. Once programmed, the system repeatedly returns the lift to the selected positions without the gradual stopping-point drift commonly associated with traditional timed controls.
AC 120V Integrated Winch Box
The AC model is designed for installations with access to standard 120V shore power.
AC Features
- Plug-and-play 120V power connection
- Designed for use with GFCI-protected power
- Wireless RF key-fob operation
- EV1 digital limit controls
- Audio-guided limit setup
- Programmable upper and lower stopping positions
- Automatic stopping
- Low-voltage protection
DC 12V/24V Integrated Winch Box
The DC model provides battery-powered operation and can be configured for either 12V or 24V power. It is also solar-ready, making it a practical option for boat lifts where shore power is unavailable or inconvenient.
DC Features
- Compatible with 12V or 24V battery systems
- Solar-ready power configuration
- Programmable auto-stop and auto-run positions
- Zero-drift digital positioning
- RF key-fob operation
- Optional smart Bluetooth controls
- Smartphone and compatible smartwatch operation when equipped with the optional Bluetooth control system
Note: Bluetooth, smartphone, and smartwatch controls are optional upgrades and may not be included with the standard DC winch box.

How to Select the Correct Model
- Identify your boat lift capacity. Locate the model number or rated lifting capacity of your ShoreStation boat lift. This information is commonly found on the lift identification label or in the original product documentation.
- Select your power source. Choose AC 120V for installations with reliable shore power or DC 12V/24V for battery-powered and solar-assisted installations.
- Select the matching winch box. Use the model selection chart to choose the correct AC or DC winch box based on your lift capacity and cable size.
- Add the required post and hardware kit. The replacement winch box must be ordered with the corresponding post and hardware kit listed in the model selection chart.

Important Compatibility Information
Compatibility is determined by more than the advertised capacity of the boat lift. The lift model, winch post diameter, cable size, cable routing, and existing winch configuration should all be verified before ordering.
Older ShoreStation lifts or lifts that have previously been modified may require additional evaluation. Please provide your lift model number and clear photographs of the existing winch assembly if you need assistance selecting the correct replacement.
