ShoreStation — originally founded as Midwest Industries in the 1950s — brings decades of hydraulic engineering experience to its marine products. Unlike cantilevered hydraulic hoists with submerged components, the SS-V70132HYDW keeps its pump, cylinder, and all hydraulic fittings above the waterline. This reduces corrosion, lowers long-term maintenance costs, and helps ensure reliable performance season after season.

The system incorporates a hydraulic pressure-relief safety valve designed to prevent sudden lowering, even if a hydraulic hose is damaged. Keeping all hydraulic lines out of the water also helps extend seal and fitting life while reducing maintenance.

Large-diameter stainless steel cables run over large sheaves equipped with self-lubricating GAR-MAX® bushings, eliminating metal-to-metal wear and preventing cable binding.

The V-shaped aluminum cradle platform improves centering, increases shallow-water capability, and keeps all moving parts completely out of the water when the lift is raised — significantly reducing corrosion exposure and wear.

BOAT SUPPORT OPTIONS

STANDARD 14' ULTRA BUNKS — Ideal for single-hull boats including deep-V, round-bottom, and flat-bottom hulls. Ultra Bunks feature non-marring vinyl over aluminum extrusions, offering a maintenance-free alternative to carpeted bunks that trap sediment and hold moisture.

LOADING GUIDE OPTIONS

Loading guides help center your boat during entry and exit, especially in windy or choppy conditions. They are highly recommended for precise, stress-free docking.

SPRING-LOADED CENTERING GUIDE — Flex-action posts self-adjust as your boat enters, helping maintain proper alignment and reducing impact for smoother loading.

GLIDEPOLE CORNER POST GUIDES — Provides visual and physical guidance during landing, and acts as a frame to column braces for the entry end of the lift. 

 

MOTOR & BOW STOP OPTIONS

Motor and bow stops help prevent overshooting and ensure the boat consistently lands in the correct position on the lift.

MOTOR STOP — Installs on the stern-side rack beam to prevent overrunning the platform when loading your boat onto the lift.

BOW STOP — Cushioned uprights bring the boat to a controlled, repeatable stop in the ideal parking position every time.

This lift ships via LTL freight or can be picked up locally. Assembly is required. ShoreStation recommends that installation be performed by trained installers or individuals with prior boat hoist assembly experience.
