OVERVIEW

CUSTOM BOAT COVERS FROM MARINE CONCEPTS

Covering a boat is one of the most effective ways to protect your investment and extend its lifespan. Boats are exposed to harsh environmental elements—sun, rain, snow, dirt, bird droppings, and even tree sap—all of which can cause costly damage over time. A quality boat cover shields the interior and exterior surfaces from UV rays that fade upholstery, crack vinyl, and deteriorate gelcoat finishes. It also keeps water out, preventing mildew, rot, and corrosion on electrical components and metal fittings.

Beyond protection, a fitted cover helps maintain performance and resale value by preserving your boat’s clean, like-new condition. It reduces the time spent cleaning and detailing before each use, allowing you to spend more time on the water.

Marine Concepts Custom Boat Covers redefine what it means to protect your boat with ease, speed, and precision. Designed by boaters for boaters, this patented track system allows one person to fully cover their boat in seconds—no motors, no snaps, no hassle.

Each cover is digitally measured, 3D modeled, and hand-sewn for a perfect, tailored fit that seals out the elements and keeps your boat cleaner, longer. Built from Aqualon Edge marine-grade fabric, these covers withstand harsh sun, moisture, and mildew while maintaining a sleek, custom look. With flexible installation for any dock or lift, zero electricity required, and a real warranty backing every system, Marine Concepts delivers the most durable, easy-to-use boat cover solution on the water today.

COVER YOUR BOAT IN SECONDS

Pull. Zip. Secure.

This patented track system lets one person fully cover a boat—quickly, cleanly, and without power.

  • Pull – Your cover glides on and off like a curtain using our patented track system with a single person and no power needed.
  • Zip – Close your cover effortlessly with one pull of our zipper rope that runs the length of the cover.
  • Secure – Seal and protect your boat with the integrated drawstring design that closes the gaps in the cover around the hull or deck of your boat.

The Cover

Each cover is highly tailored and hand-sewn using the finest marine-grade materials for ultimate durability and protection.

  • Tailored Fit – Every cover is measured and modeled using state-of-the-art digital tools for a tighter seal and cleaner boat.
  • Premium Craftsmanship – Hand-sewn from top-quality materials designed to perform in tough marine environments.
  • Guaranteed Protection – We stand behind our products with a real warranty on both the cover and the track system.
  • Color Options – Available in Basic Beige, Charcoal Gray, Black Onyx, Atlantic Blue, Slate Gray, and Classic Silver.

We use Aqualon Edge, which is a premium marine-grade fabric engineered for long-lasting performance in demanding environments. Constructed from vinyl-coated polyester, it offers exceptional durability, water repellency, and UV resistance. Thanks to its Perfecta Marine™ technology, Aqualon Edge helps reduce heat buildup while protecting surfaces from sun exposure, salt, and mildew.

The Track System

Marine Concepts Track

Invented by boaters for boaters, our patented track system eliminates one of boating’s biggest frustrations—covering your boat.

  • Fast – One person can cover a 50-foot boat in about 60 seconds.
  • Easy – The cover glides effortlessly on and off like pulling a curtain.
  • Clean – No more crawling, snapping, or sweating to get your cover in place.

INSTALLATION FOR ANY DOCK OR BOAT LIFT

Every waterfront setup is unique, which is why each installation is customized for a perfect fit. Our system uses secure clamps instead of screws, protecting your dock or lift from unnecessary damage. Whether you have a covered slip, open dock, or freestanding lift, the configuration is tailored to match your structure for smooth operation and a clean, professional finish.

Compatible with most dock and lift types, including: Roofed Docks, Open-Air Docks, Floating Docks, Fixed Docks, Sectional Docks, Piling-Mounted Lifts, Freestanding Lifts and Boat House Lifts.

Freestanding Lift Installation

Installing the system on a freestanding lift is straightforward—especially when the lift already uses a canopy frame. The track mounts directly down the center of the canopy framework and secures to the bows or ribs of the frame. It works particularly well with canopy frames that use a center strap connecting the bows, but that feature is not required.

Canopy installations are the simplest method overall. Once the track is mounted, the cover slides right into place and you’re ready to protect your boat. This setup not only makes operation easy, it also adds an extra layer of protection that standard canopy covers typically can’t deliver.

Piling Mount Lift Installation

The Marine Concepts Cover can be installed on a piling-mounted boat lift with or without an existing canopy frame. If a canopy is already in place, the installation is very similar to a standard freestanding lift and canopy—the track simply attaches to the center of the canopy frame, and the cover slides into place.

If there is no canopy frame (what we call an Open Air system), we fabricate a custom Bridge System that allows the track to mount above the boat. These bridges are built from 2" brushed marine-grade aluminum for strength, durability, and a clean appearance. Each bridge is a vaulted framework that spans from one side of the lift to the other, creating the height and clearance needed for the cover to glide on and off.

Running the length of the boat is a 4" C-Channel, which adds rigidity and serves as the mounting point for the track system. The number of bridges required depends on the overall length of the watercraft, and when the dock design allows, a front (bow) support frame can also be added for additional stability.

Boat House Installation

The Marine Concepts Cover system is an excellent solution for boat house installations, including both enclosed and open-sided boat houses. It can be configured for freestanding lifts, piling-mounted lifts, or lifts integrated directly into the boat house structure.

When overhead cross-members are present, the track mounts securely using clamp-based connections—no drilling into finished roof panels or structural components. The cover then slides smoothly along the centerline, delivering full-length protection with a clean, low-profile appearance. If no suitable overhead framework exists, Marine Concepts can design a custom marine-grade aluminum bridge system similar o to support the track.

Each boat house installation is custom-fit to account for roof pitch, beam spacing, lift travel, and door or curtain clearances. The result is a durable, easy-to-operate cover system that protects your boat from sun, debris, birds, and moisture—while preserving the look and function of your boat house.

Is the Fast Track installation permanent?

No. The Fast Track Boat Cover Track System is semi-permanent and fully relocatable, allowing it to be uninstalled, moved, and reinstalled without damaging your dock or structure. The system uses secure beam clamps to attach to purlins, eliminating the need for permanent modifications while still providing a strong, reliable installation. If you relocate or change dock configurations, the system can move with you and be adapted to the new setup.

How to Purchase a Marine Concepts Boat Cover

  • Step 1: Submit Your Boat & Installation Details
Start by completing the form above with your boat’s year, make, and model, along with your installation type (freestanding lift, piling-mount lift, or boat house). We’ll also ask for the zip code where your boat is located so we can connect you with the right dealer. You’ll hear back from us or a local Marine Concepts dealer within 24–48 hours to review your request and discuss next steps.

  • Step 2: Receive a Custom Quote
Your information is forwarded to the nearest authorized Marine Concepts dealer, who will prepare a custom quote for your boat cover system. The quote will include pricing and an estimated delivery timeline based on your specific setup.

  • Step 3: Digital Measurement & Precision Manufacturing
Once you approve the quote, your dealer schedules a visit to your dock to digitally measure your boat and installation location using state-of-the-art measuring tools. These measurements ensure a precise fit. Your cover is then designed, cut, and hand-sewn in the USA. A 3D model of your boat is created, cut to exact specifications using automated equipment, and finished by skilled craftsmen at our headquarters near Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.

  • Step 4: Professional Installation
When your cover and track system are ready, your dealer returns to your dock to complete the professional installation. The system is installed based on your dock or lift’s unique layout, ensuring smooth operation, proper clearance, and a clean, finished look.
