Below you will find information about the BoatLiftandDock.com return policy.
No returned merchandise will be accepted by BoatLiftandDock.com without a Return Material Authorization (RMA).You can obtain an RMA number by contacting BoatLiftandDock.com or going to the following link to fill out a RMA form Click Here.
BoatLiftandDock.com will credit the buyer in the same manner as your original payment or replace your product purchase within 14 business days of receiving the returned item.
Most products purchased from BoatLiftandDock.com can be returned for either a Refund or Replacement of the same item, all items must be returned within 30 business days of the original sales invoice. All returns may be subject to a %15 restocking fee which will be deducted from the refund amount.
We inspect all returned items when they arrive at our processing facility. All returns should be returned with all original packaging and accessories. When returning products it is strongly suggested that you insure the product with the shipper of the full price of the item. Damage done to the product being returned by the carrier will be covered by the buyer.
Defective Product Return
BoatLiftandDock.com being a reseller of manufacturer’s products; If your order is received in a defective state BoatLiftandDock.com will not pay for return shipping fees. BoatLiftandDock.com however, will replace and ship a replacement to you at no charge if you pay to send the defective product back. Products returned do to a defect will not be charged restocking fee.
Open Item Return
If you return an item that has been opened or shows signs of wear, we will issue a partial refund for the product minus the initial shipping charge and the return shipping charges.
Receiving your Refund
Once your return is received and processed you can expect your refund within 14 business days and no longer than a total of 30 business days from the day you provide the shipper with the product.
This time period includes:
- 4 to 9 business days for BoatLiftandDock.com to receive your return from the shipper
- 2 to 5 business days for BoatLiftandDock.com to process your return
- 3 to 9 business days for your bank or credit service to process our refund request
Returns Restocking Fee
If the return is not a result of BoatLiftandDock.com error or defect and you initiate a return to BoatLiftandDock.com a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the customer refund, unless waived by a BoatLiftandDock.com customer service representative
Out-of-Stock / Back-Order Items
If you have ordered an item that BoatLiftandDock.com no longer carries or is currently unavailable from the manufacturer you will be contacted either via the phone number or email provided to us by your order invoice. At that point you have the option to either be sent a comparable replacement item, or a refund of the current market value of the product can be issued. Item refunds may not exceed the original invoice price.
Promotional Items and Bundles
When any promotional item is returned, the value of the promotional item is deducted from the refund amount. For example, if you purchase a boat lift and you receive 50% off a lift accessory the value of the discounted accessory would be subtracted from the refund. Any charges mentioned in BoatLiftandDock.com return policy may be applicable to promotional item returns.
When an item that is included as part of promotional bundle is returned, the bundled discount is void and the value of the discount will be applied to the refund. For example, if you receive a $250 in savings when you purchase a: boat lift, canopy and boat lift motor together and you return any of the bundled items, the $250 discount amount will be subtracted from the refund. All additional charges mentioned in return policy may be applicable for bundled items.
“Last Item” / “Open Box Item”
Items purchased from BoatLiftandDock.com as a “Last Item” or “Open-Box Item” is subject to limited refund-only. These items must be returned within 30 days of invoice date. Due to limited stock of these products BoatLiftandDock.com cannot provide replacement of the item. “Open-Box Items” have been tested for functionality; however they may have superficial defects such as: scratches, dents or dings and are not covered under any satisfaction guarantee. An “Open-Box” item only guarantees that you will receive the product itself. Product accessories or manuals may or may not be included with “Open-Box” Items. Per request of buyer, BoatLiftandDock.com will attempt to acquire any required accessories that are needed to make use of products advertised functions. If we are able to offer the buyer any of the accessories required that are not included in the “open-box”, those items it must be purchased separately and fall under “Last Item” or “Open-Box” return policy.
Oversized-Item / Freight Item
If delivery is refused without inspection, you miss your delivery appointment(s) or you return a non-defective or undamaged product, you as the buyer will incur original shipping fees in addition to the return shipping charges. Return shipping charges can typically range from $60 to $500 but can exceed $500 depending of the overall size of the item(s).

The following items may not be returned:
- Labor, Delivery and/or installation services
- Items that are missing accessories, or parts
- Any product not purchased from BoatLiftandDock.com
- Any product that does not have a valid, serial number
- Items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases
- Any product damaged due to improper use
- Any product missing the serial number or UPC code
- Any item that is indicated as a “special-order” item
- Any custom-made products
- Any residential product that is placed in a commercial setting
- Case Packs/Bulk Items: No partial case pack returns will be accepted. Product must be returned in the original shipping packing with all individual items unopened
Will BoatLiftandDock.com cross-ship?
BoatLiftandDock.com does not cross-ship any items. If a product you purchase is defective and is eligible for refund, setup an RMA for a refund. You may re-order the item on the BoatLiftandDock.com website. You will be refunded for the defective item once the RMA is processed.
- Create a Return Material Authorization (RMA) for the item you wish to return.
If you wish to return your purchase it will require an RMA number so BoatLiftandDock.com can identify it. You may setup an RMA on our website LINK, or contact customer service to request an RMA.
- Send the product to BoatLiftandDock.com
Once you have received an RMA number, place shipping label on product box and return it to the below return address. Ship authorized returns to the following address:

- RMA must be Received and Approved
Once your return is received to the above address, we will send you an email to inform you that we have received your return item. Following the prior step you will receive another email within 2-5 business days to inform that your RMA has been reviewed and approved.
- RMA resolution
If an item replacement has been requested, BoatLiftandDock.com will generate a new order once your RMA has been approved and inform you via email of your new order. If an item refund has been requested, BoatLiftandDock.com will provide you with a credit memo once your RMA has been approved that you will receive via email. The RMA process on average will typically take a total time of 5-10 business days from the time we receive your shipment.
