Powerhouse 1/2HP Ice Eater - Model P500
Ice Eater P500 De-Icer by Power House is designed to pull warm subsurface water to the water surface. By creating a constant current of warmer water to the surface this unit prevents ice from forming. De-Icers can help protect your waterfront equipment from ice damage. The P500 can also be used to clear already frozen areas.
The Ice Eater P500 comes complete and ready for use. The unit includes suspension lines for it to hang from your dock, boat or lift. By hanging the unit vertically it will create a round opening. Hanging it on an angle allows it to create an elongated oval opening. It is typically recommended for the unit to be placed in an average operating depth of two to three feet.
