Overview Specifications Requirements Reviews Q & A

Docks Blocks™ is an innovative modular docking system built to last and outperform any other dock building materials. Dock Blocks™ drive on boat lifts offer easy access to and from the water allowing you to safely protect your boat by storing it out of the water. Because of the modular, design many configurations are available for almost any dock space.

Dock Blocks Videos

Dock Blocks™ are over 50% stronger than leading competitive products due to our patented connecting system and extra strength construction. Made of High Density polyethylene, a thick and durable plastic, Dock Blocks™ is nearly twice as thick as the leading competitor.

Dock Blocks™ - .3000" thick
Leading Competitor - .1700" thick

The back row or entering end of the dock system is submerged creating the perfect drive-on ramp for your boat. Use a garden hose to fill each block in the 1st row with water, being sure to remove all air. Install and tighten the bung plug so water will not escape. Boats slide on and off the lifts so easily that you don’t even need a winch. Extra strength cleats are included with each system so docking is a breeze.

KEY FEATURES

  • Non Slip Tread, No Holes or Gaps, Light colors are cooler to the touch.
  • Dock Blocks™ is an environmentally friendly and totally recyclable product that does not pollute the environment, rot, splinter or rust.
  • Extremely durable High Density polyethylene is impact and perforation resistant, and totally safe - there is no sharp or cutting edges.
  • Infinitely configurable, possible to create innovative layouts. They can be enlarged or shrunk down according to location or event needs, as it light and portable. Only use what you need with this modular system.
  • It requires little or almost no maintenance and can be easily removed for cleaning at any time.
  • Patented cube design supports 200 lbs per cube.

The patented technology offered for the floating boat dock blocks has pins that lock 2 blocks together, providing up to 200 lbs of support for each plastic floating block. Each block of the floating boat docking system measures roughly 16.5 inches long by 16.5 inches wide by 16.5 inches deep. Our denser floating boat Dock Blocks™ provide more stability and prevent bowing, bending, and breaking. This unique connecting system reduces pressure on pins.

Secure the assembly to dock, slip, or land using 1/2” braided nylon rope attached to 2 or more of the Dock Blocks cleats. Dock Blocks™ are a great way to lease unsold slips by using drive-on lifts or expand your docking capacity temporarily or permanently.

Dock Blocks™ offers a premium product line designed specifically for rowing clubs, making access easier to your skulls, canoes or kayaks. With our half floater system at only 9 inches thick, it allows you to be closer to the water than competitive products making it possible for crews to clear the dock easily and to enter or exit the vessel.

PROTECTIVE BAR CONNECTION

Dock Blocks™ innovative and unique concept, totally different from all other international suppliers (USA, Canada, France, UK and Asia), requires the protective bars, as shown in the picture to the right, resulting in a more rigid assembly and protecting the platform from the boats and jet-skis while tied up to the docking, making it more stable under normal foot traffic. This is also the only floating dock system with the locking pins located on the sides (as opposed to the corners as all other floating dock systems).

They have also re-designed the floating docks style, with the most fresh new & elegant design, different from all other suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION

The first thing you will need when installing a Dock Blocks™ drive on unit, is a dock layout. Know the design that you would like to create before you begin to build. If you are placing a watercraft on the platform, you will need to make sure the layout has been designed for your boat, enough weight capacity and beam.

Once you know your layout, below are a list of helpful tools during assembly;

  • Tamper
  • Dock Blocks wrench
  • Dock Blocks fork tool
  • Expandable wrench
  • 4-5/8" hole saw
  • 3/8” or 1/2” braided nylon or polypropylene rope
  • Garden hose and fresh water source

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS

Customizable designs offer flexibility in the configuration and location of your dock. The lightweight design makes it possible for a crew to move the dock at their own convenience.

As long as you have enough water depth to operate your boat, a platform can be placed to drive you boat upon. The back row or entering end of the dock system is submerged creating the perfect drive-on ramp for your boat. Secure the assembly to dock, slip, or land using 1/2” braided nylon rope attached to 2 or more of the Dock Blocks cleats.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The questions below are questions that have been asked by customers about this product or similar products.

What if my boat is heavier than the weight classification of the layout?

  • It is strongly recommended that you follow the weight ratings given by the manufacture of any lift or drive on system. Overloading the lift or dock will void any manufactures warranty and can cause the lift or dock to be unsafe.

I have a ski boat, can I use the Dock Blocks™ system for my boat?

  • This system will not accomodate any boat that has skegs, a prop or rudder on the underside of the boat. You must have an I/O or an outboard for this system to work as a drive on lift for your boat.

Can I install this unit into salt water?

  • Yes, they will work well in almost any type of water, fresh, brackish or salt.

Can I make the unit freestanding?

  • You will need to attach the unit to something strong enough to hold the dock and your watercraft in place. It can be attached to almost anything; pilings, permanent dock, seawall or even the shoreline.

Is this unit portable?

  • Yes, this unit can be floated into a new spot very easily. It can also be broken down and rebuild quite easily with its light weight design. If you move, take it with you. If you rent a slip, use it as long as you need and take it with you.
