Overview Specifications Requirements Reviews Q & A

Shore Station 5000 lb capacity lifts are heavy duty aluminum, freestanding lifts. Shore Station has been in business since 1959 which has allowed their products to be tested by time. Many of the older lifts you see on the water today are Shore Station brand lifts.

All Shore Station manual lift models feature their new uniquely designed aluminum platform cradle tube.

Standard stainless cables and either plated or stainless steel/brass fasteners. Also standard with a aluminum and vinyl motor stop.

KEY FEATURES

  • 5000 lb. Max Lifting Capacity
  • 108" or 120" Max Beam (inside width)
  • 48" Lift Height (actual cradle travel)
  • Ultra Bunks - 12' vinyl and aluminum Hull Bunks
  • 48" Painted Steel Wheel
  • 460:1 Winch lift ratio
  • Stainless steel cables
  • 20" standard telescoping legs / 72" deep water telescoping legs
  • 2 Year Mechanical and 10 Year Structural Limited Warranty

One of the most important features of this lift is the time-tested winch. Virtually unchanged for over 40 years, it offers smoother lifting and dependability far superior to any ordinary winch.

The "V" shape design of the platform allows for operation in shallow water and provides more positive centering. In the up position, there are no moving parts left in the water which minimizes corrosion.

Durable component parts are used throughout the Shore Station product line.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For questions like 'How to choose the correct lift for my boat?' or 'How to find the weight of your boat?' please reference our learning center FAQ here. The questions below are questions that have been asked by customers about this lift or similar lifts

What if my boat is heavier than the weight classification of the lift?

  • Boat lifts are overloaded during manufacturer testing, However it is strongly recommended that you follow the weight ratings. Overloading the boat lift will void any manufactures warranty.

How long will it take me to build a new boat lift?

  • As a first time builder it is a good idea to set aside 4-6 hours with the aid of a second person to construct a new boat lift for use. All boat lifts have a manual included with them to help in this process. Most of the work constructing a boat lift is connecting pieces with bolts and nuts. Very few tools are required for the assembly. If you encounter any issues regarding the assembly of your lift please contact boatliftanddock.com. One of our service representatives will be happy to provide you with additional aid.

Can the wheel be placed on either side of the lift?

  • The wheel and winch can only be installed on one side, the winch post side. The way the cables are run through the lift only allow the winch to be mounted on the one post.
  • If you need the wheel on a certain side of your dock, simply spin the lift around and adjust the bunks accordingly. There is no front or rear on the lift.
