Overview Specifications Requirements Reviews Q & A

The CraftLander 4500 lb capacity models are reliable, well designed, aluminum, vertical boat lifts that do their job very well. These units can support all different types of boats and have become extremely popular. Pictured above with optional loading guides.

The CraftLander aluminum boat lift is easier to crank than most lifts on the market today due to their patented "Positive Drive Winch" that is chain driven with roller bearings. The 4500 lb models have a 16:1 winch (16 turns or the wheel to 1 complete revolution of the drum) and raises about 1 inch every 2 turns of the wheel.

KEY FEATURES

  • 4500 lb. Max Lifting Capacity
  • 108", 114" and 120" Max Beam (inside width) available and chosen below
  • 64" Lift Height
  • 10' Vinyl and Aluminum Hull Bunks
  • 98% Aluminum
  • 16" x 12" Foot Pad with Tapered Edges
  • 42" or 48" Aluminum Wheel
  • Galvanized or Stainless Steel Cables Available
  • 54" Telescoping Legs
  • 2 Year Mechanical and 15 Year Structural Limited Warranty

This lift has been designed to be used in low and fluctuating water levels. The 64" lift height gives you a lot of cradle travel to work with and keeps you from having to move the lift to shallow or deeper water.

The 54" telescoping legs get you installed up to a 7 foot water depth. We can also provide longer legs and a bracing kit to get you in up to 10' of water.

The large tapered pads or feet on this unit allow it to be moved across many different surfaces and lake bottoms without snagging or digging in. This is very helpful for seasonal installation and removal.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For questions like 'How to choose the correct lift for my boat?' or 'How to find the weight of your boat?' please reference our learning center FAQ here. The questions below are questions that have been asked by customers about this lift or similar lifts.

What if my boat is heavier than the weight classification of the lift?

  • It is strongly recommended that your follow the weight ratings. Overloading the boat lift will void any manufactures warranty.

How long will it take me to build a new boat lift?

  • As a first time builder it is a good idea to set aside 4-6 hours with the aid of a second person to construct this unit. We have provided links below to a set of instructional videos showing how this unit goes together. They are not the best quality, but can shave 2 hours off your build time.

4500 Assembly Part 1 Opening packaging, what you should receive, legs and and lower framework

4500 Assembly Part 2 Lower framework continued, galvanized cable plates, squaring the lift, diagnol braces and horizontal brace and column clamps

4500 Assembly Part 3 Cradle / platform layout and assembly, routing the cables and plastic column guide installation

4500 Assembly Part 4 Routing of cables

4500 Assembly Part 5 Tightening of leveling cables and winch installation

4500 Assembly Part 6 Attaching and fastening of winch cable in winch and wheel assembly

4500 Assembly Part 7 Continued wheel assembly and vinyl hull bunk assembly

4500 Assembly Part 8 Adjusting and tightening hull bunks and notes

Can the wheel be placed on either side of the lift?

  • The wheel and winch can only be installed on one side, the winch post side. The way the cables are ran through the lift only allow the winch to be mounted on the one post.
  • If you need the wheel on a certain side of your dock, simply spin the lift around and adjust the bunks accordingly. There is no front or rear on the lift.

What width lift should I choose for my boat?

  • We recommend trying to purchase a lift that is at least 12" wider on the inside than your boat. This give you at least 6" of play on each side of the boat when entering. If you purchase a lift that is a lot wider than your boat, the step out of the boat to the dock can be difficult. If you purchase a lift that is only a few inches wider than your boat, parking can be difficult for some boats and you will never be able to add guides. Sometimes the width of a slip or well may determine the width of lift you choose, in this case you will also want to find the outside width of the lift you are purchasing.

This is a well made & engineered lift. It took me a little over half of a day to assemble it; by myself. Before you start I recommend watching the videos on YouTube. They have a lot of great tips on installation you'll never get from a manual. It will save you TIME & FRUSTRATION! Everything was package properly and when I was done I didn't have one nut, bolt, or screw left over. They package it perfectly, that’s never happen to me before. The lift operates smooth and flawless. You won’t be disappointed buying this product, its first rate!
