338Measuring Your ShoreStation Canopy Frame
In order to properly identify the size of cover your ShoreStation canopy frame requires, you must determine the size of canopy frame installed on your lift. This is determined by measuring the width and length of the canopy frame.
When measuring for width on ShoreStation canopies you must measure the Inside Width of the frame itself. Alternatively, to determine width you may also measure the Inside Distance between the vertical column uprights on your ShoreStation boat lift.
The easiest method for measuring the length of the frame is to measure the length of the frame side tubes and then take that measurement and add two feet.
All aluminum ShoreStation canopy frames have two side tubes, one on each side. The side tubes are located on either side of the canopy frame running length wise. Each side tube is constructed from two 4" round aluminum tubes that are spliced together to form one longer tube that runs almost the entire length of the canopy frame. By measuring the length of the side tube end to end you can easily determine your canopy length. When measuring the side tube only measure the 4" tube itself, you DO NOT want to include the hardware attached at the end. Once you have determined the length of the side tube installed on your frame take that measurement and then add 2 feet. This will give you the correct ordering size for the length of your frame.
